Cookie Policy
We use four cookies. All are strictly necessary; none are for analytics or advertising.
Effective date: 21 August 2026
What we use, in short
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. We use cookies only where they are strictly necessary to run the service you asked for. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, which is why you will not see a cookie-consent banner — there is nothing non-essential to consent to.
The cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| next-auth.session-token | Keeps you signed in | Session | Strictly necessary |
| next-auth.csrf-token | Security — prevents cross-site request forgery | Session | Strictly necessary |
| ff_guest | Lets you save work without an account, tied to this browser | Up to 400 days | Strictly necessary |
| consent | Records your cookie choices (only if we ever add optional cookies) | Up to 12 months | Strictly necessary |
The consent cookie is listed for completeness; we set it only if we ever introduce an optional cookie, at which point we would ask you first. Today we use none.
Local storage
We also keep a few small preferences in your browser’s local storage — for example whether you have dismissed an onboarding tip. These stay on your device, are not sent to us as tracking data, and are not used to identify you.
Controlling cookies
Because all our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them in your browser may stop parts of the service from working (for example, staying signed in). Your browser’s settings let you view and delete cookies at any time.
