Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Forefront. This is a working draft; the operative terms are pending legal drafting.

Effective date: 21 August 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Forefront, operated by Forefront Intelligence Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 16893923). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. The service

Forefront helps you discover, organise and make sense of research literature. We aggregate and present information from public research databases and generate summaries with AI. We work to keep this accurate and useful, but the service is a research aid — see “No professional advice” below.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to hold an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe others’ rights using the service;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
  • scrape, resell or systematically extract the service’s content except as the features intend;
  • misuse the AI features to generate unlawful or harmful content.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the research library and materials you create or upload. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and show that content back to you and operate the service. We do not use your content to train AI models. You are responsible for having the right to upload anything you upload.

6. AI-generated output

AI-generated summaries and answers can be incomplete or wrong. Always verify against the underlying sources before relying on them. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate, and it is provided to assist your own judgement, not replace it.

7. No professional advice

Forefront is a research tool. Nothing in the service is medical, clinical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and it must not be used as a substitute for a qualified professional’s judgement. In particular, clinical and drug information is presented for research and discovery, not to guide patient care.

8. Paid plans and payment

Paid plans, their prices and billing cycles are shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe. Renewals, cancellations and refunds work as described on the billing page at the time you subscribe. Detailed billing terms are pending legal drafting.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these terms; for material changes we will give reasonable notice.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, or where we must to comply with the law or protect the service.

11. Liability, warranties and governing law

The operative wording for warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law (England and Wales) and dispute resolution is to be supplied by legal counsel. This draft intentionally does not attempt it — these clauses determine real legal rights and should not be engineer-drafted.
